Overview
The XMLParseIsTag function tests the last item as being a tag.
Syntax/Parameters
Syntax
boolean = XMLParseIsTag ( handle hXPO );
Parameters
hXPO
A handle specifying an XML Parse Object.
Return Value
Returns a boolean value as TRUE or FALSE as to whether the last item parsed was a tag. The function will return FALSE on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information and IsError / IsNotError to test for an error.
Remarks
This function tests the item in the parse buffer to a starting ‘<’ character but is not a declaration or comment. A XML declarations starts with <!item ... > and a comment as <!-- comment -->. Note that is the parse options are not set to pass through comments, such data will never be available in the parse buffer for testing.
It is not impacted by the raw parameter on XMLParseGetItem function.
