The SEC has adopted new Regulation SE under the Securities Exchange Act that creates a regime for the registration and regulation of security-based swap execution facilities (SBSEFs). The new regime also addresses other issues related to security-based swap execution.
Under the newly adopted rule, registered SBSEFs are required to publish Daily Market Data Reports (DMDR) on their websites using a custom XML schema and PDF renderer. The SEC will make these tools available on its website.
A draft version of the schema and renderer has been posted, and the files are available on the SEC’s Taxonomies webpage. Interested parties may email comments to StructuredData@sec.gov through May 1, 2024. Emails should have “Draft 2024 Daily Market Data Report (DMDR) Schema and Report Renderer” as the subject.
