Version 5.22b of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains improvements and corrections to XDX and XBRL, as well as support for the most recent version of the ECD taxonomy. Additionally, the GoFiler Fee Exhibit Editor is no longer in beta preview only. See the release notes for more information.
GoFiler Complete 5.22b
General EDGAR Updates
– Adjusted the XML writer for forms that have coregistrants to write out several optional fields to account for changes to the SEC’s handling of the XML.
N-PORT Updates
– Added section B.11 to Part B: Information About the Fund.
– Added section C.2.E to Part C: Schedule of Portfolio Investments, Part D: Miscellaneous Securities, and Reference Instruments: Derivatives.
– Corrected an issue that caused the application to write invalid XML data into the file when some currency fields contained invalid information.
XBRL View
– Updated the ECD 2024 taxonomy to the latest version published by the SEC.
– Corrected an issue with the OEF Average Annual Returns table role not being added to the presentation file.
– Corrected an issue with the OEF taxonomy when using non-extension elements with the IndustrySectorAxis and/or GeographicRegionAxis.
– Adjusted the top data types listed in the Library.
XDX
– Updated the ECD 2024 taxonomy to the latest version published by the SEC.
– Updated the PCAOB list to include the 2024 entries.
– Corrected an issue with the OEF Average Annual Returns table role not being added to the presentation file.
– Corrected an issue with the OEF taxonomy when using non-extension elements with the IndustrySectorAxis and/or GeographicRegionAxis.
– Corrected an issue that could cause one element’s label to be applied to another when using a taxonomy that allows for minor presentation editing (like ECD).
– Corrected an issue with the automatic cover page tagging that could result in application instability.
– Adjusted the top data types listed in the Library.
– Removing embedded extension or additional label engrams will now properly remove them from the file.
– Added validation for the contents of labels.

– The GoFiler Fee Exhibit Editor is now available outside of beta settings but is still under development. See the full release notes for the list of changes and limitations.
