On January 14th, XBRL US hosted a webinar to review and discuss the Open Information Model (OIM) Taxonomy Specification requirements document.
The OIM Taxonomy Specification updates and simplifies the XBRL specification with elements that facilitate implementation of data standards programs, generate data that is even more "AI-ready", and improve the ability to produce XBRL reports. The comment period for this public review will remain open through February 16, 2026.
