Version 4.25d of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains a number of improvements to Form N-CEN View, general EDGAR forms, the Export XBRL to Excel function and to XDX and iXBRL. Additionally, improvements were made to the Virtual File Cloud browser feature, which can now be enabled via the application preferences.

New Release (4.25d) for the GoFiler Family of Products

GoFiler Complete 4.25d
General Items
– Added an option to enable the Virtual File Cloud browser through the application preferences.
– Made a number of improvements to the Virtual File Cloud browser.
– Corrected an issue that would cause certain GIFs to not open or display.
General EDGAR Updates
– All libraries have been updated to use the newer file processing object which helps in network error recovery.
– Added an optimization for many EDGAR forms to reduce load, save and validate times.
– When editing or creating a form N-LIQUID the SROS field will automatically be set to “NONE”.
Form ATS-N Updates
– Corrected an issue that caused some fields to not show when using Proof to Browser or Print PDF.
N-CEN Updates
– Made a number of corrections and improvements to the proof.
– Corrected a number of issues where sections that are not applicable to the form depending on the selected investment company type were appearing and validating as though they were required.
– Made improvements to disable and enable fields in Part C based on the fund type.
– Corrected an issue with adding new rows to Item C.6.c.
– Made improvements to the validation and on-screen highlighting.
Form SDR Updates
– Corrected an issue with protected characters & < and >.
Form ABS-EE XML Data File
– Corrected an issue with protected characters & < and >.
Page View and HTML
– Added an option to convert paragraph space after to multiple blank paragraphs.
– A Document Namespace Properties function has been added to allow for the inspection and editing of XML namespaces as specified in the root element (html element) of the document.
XBRL
– Added support for percentage values when exporting a US-GAAP or IFRS document to Excel.
– Added support for duration string values when exporting to Excel.
– Corrected an issue with the display of decimal values when exporting to Excel.
– Invalid characters are now replaced with ‘?’ when exporting to Excel.
XDX
– Corrected an issue that would cause percentage values to be hidden in certain situations.
– Corrected an issue with hidden percentage facts having incorrect values.
– Corrected DTD issues with iXBRL HTML files and XML attributes.
iXBRL
– Schema adjustments for processing the xml:lang attribute.
– Improved color coding in Code View.
