TLS 1.2

All SEC.gov websites, including EDGAR, will be upgraded to require Transport Layer Security 1.2. After the upgrade, all SEC.gov domains will no longer accept connections from systems and browsers using older security standards.

Current versions of all major browsers are TLS 1.2 compliant. Users running Windows 10 or Window 8.1 do not need to take action. However, filers who are using earlier versions of Windows may need to enable TLS 1.2 or upgrade their systems to ensure continued ability to use EDGAR and to connect to SEC websites. New Accelerated Filer Status Field

The “Accelerated Filer Status” field has been added to the following form types:

• S-1, S-1/A
• S-3, S-3/A
• S-4, S-4/A
• S-11, S-11/A
• 10-12B, 10-12B/A
• 10-12G, 10-12G/A
• 10-Q, 10-Q/A
• 10-QT, 10-QT/A

Please note that this list includes form types that are not listed in the SEC release notes. These form types will be suspended by EDGAR 20.1 if they do not include the “Accelerated Filer Status” field.

ATS-N

Submission form types ATS-N, ATS-N/MA, ATS-N/UA, ATS-N/CA, and ATS-N/OFA have been updated so a text box is now available to enter an explanation when “No” is selected as a response to Item 16b.

XBRL

• Inline XBRL tag validation was modified for certain submission form types as described in Chapter 6 (Interactive Data) Sections 6.5.20, 6.5.21, and 6.5.40 of the "EDGAR Filer Manual, Volume II: EDGAR Filing."
• The EDGAR Renderer Plugin was updated in December 2019 to version 3.19.3.a.u2 to improve performance for large submissions.
• The Inline XBRL Viewer on www.sec.gov was updated to version 2.0.2 to resolve various defects.
