The staff at the FERC will host a virtual technical conference to discuss the potential requirement for further financial assurance mechanisms in the licenses and other authorizations the FERC issues for hydroelectric projects. The technical conference will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. The remote event is free and open to the public. Further details will be published in a supplemental notice prior to the conference that will include the event’s details including start time, agenda, how to participate as a panelist, meeting registration information, and remote log-in steps.
