Version 5.12a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to the changes made to EDGAR 21.4 on January 31, 2022 and contains support for the new EX-FILING FEES exhibit. Other changes include improvements to XDX processing, XBRL View, Page View, and the full release of Form 24F-2 View.

New Release (5.12a) for the GoFiler Family of Products

GoFiler Complete 5.12a
General Items
– Changed the Save dialog to support the newest Windows common dialog.
– The Save dialog now has the current project’s location as a known place.
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated to EDGAR 21.4 (January 31, 2022).
– Added the EX-FILINGFEES exhibit type.
– Added the "Is Fee Table included?" field to applicable forms.
Form 24F-2
– The XML Form is now out of beta and is the format expected to file to the SEC. ASCII has been retired.
– Improved validation for state and country fields.
– Added an Import from CSV function.
Text View/ASCII
– Enabled the Table | Cleanup | Show Column Structure function in Code View for HTML files. This operates in the same manner as the Page View menu function by the same name.
– Enabled the Table | Cleanup | Clean Cells/Column function in Code View for HTML files. This operates in the same manner as the Page View menu function by the same name.
Page View and HTML
– Corrected an issue with the scaling of inch values.
– Added the Table Height dialog (operates in same manner as Table Width dialog).
– Added logic to process <STRIKE> and <S> to CSS styles using span.
– Corrected an issue with empty tags such as <td/>, which introduced coding errors during conversion.
– Added logic to complete default close on table cells and rows for XML coding.
– Added logic to report missing </body> and </html> tags (previous version was already was adding the tags). Also added a blank line in front of </body> if the tag was added.
– Added logic to add missing </body> if the </html> tag is present.
– Added logic to remove out of context header items such as <title>, </title> or <meta>.
– Added logic to the HTML validators to treat missing open tags as fatal errors in the error log.
– Corrected a problem/add logic to the processing of very large comments during import.
– Made a number of improvements to fields.
XBRL View
– The maximum dimensions allowed on a single presentation has been increased to 20. The maximum dimensions allowed on a single context has not been adjusted (maximum of 10).
– Corrected an issue causing an error with data types in the IFRS 2021 taxonomy that conflict with the DTR 2020 datatypes.
XDX
– Corrected an issue with Risk Return XDX processing.
– The application will now sort all XDX engrams by presentation prior to running transactions.
– Added special processing for the auto positioning on equity presentations.
– When a statement appears after a level 1 presentation, it will now be inserted before all the level 1 presentations.
