New Release (5.20a) for the GoFiler Family of Products
Version 5.20a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release corresponds to EDGAR 23.3 and contains support for the SHR taxonomy and new Form F-SR. This release also contains a number of corrections and improvements to XDX, XBRL View, and HTML export.
Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.
GoFiler Complete 5.20a
General Items
– Internet Explorer has been removed from the Send To Browser menu. Edge has been swapped into the first position on the menu.
– By default, GoFiler products will support the following browsers: Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Brave.
– Corrected an issue causing character entities to display without conversion on the software dashboard.
– Made improvements and corrections to the Extension Manager.
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated to EDGAR 23.3.
– Added new Form F-SR to EDGAR Submission View.
Form MA Updates
– Corrected an issue that prevented the application from releasing all memory when creating a new form.
Form N-MFP2 Updates

– Corrected a cosmetic issue by adding a missing clause under Item 2 on the proof.
Form 13F Updates
– Corrected an issue that prevented the application from releasing all memory when creating a new form.
Form 13H Updates
– Corrected an issue that prevented the application from releasing all memory when creating a new form.
Form ABS-EE XML Data File
– Added a new code 10 for ABS-EE CMBS Item 2(k)(2). The new code 10 means “Forbearance.”
– Changed the language of options in Item 2(c)(28)(i) and Item 1(c)(29)(i) for ABS-EE CMBS to match the XML documentation.
Page View and HTML
– Corrected an issue with header code <META CHARSET="UTF-8">, which caused character entities to display without conversion.
– Corrected a minor problem when attempting to copy a selected area that only included HTML tags.
– Corrected an issue when selecting the “Optimize for MS Word” option when exporting HTML.
– Added a new option to the Export HTML Options dialog to add the HTML header to the exported data.
– Made corrections to the Export HTML function.
– Added a validation check for empty documents and documents with only images and no text.
XBRL View
– Added support for the SHR taxonomy.
– The New XBRL Report dialog has been improved to allow taxonomies to be used in combination on a single report. This dialog now contains templates that are set by year and taxonomy. More templates can be added by users.
– Corrected an issue that prevented the application from adding members used with InvestmentTypeAxis to the extensible enumeration related to that axis.
XDX
– Added support for the SHR taxonomy.
– Changed the XDX Document Setup Wizard to allow users to select a base taxonomy to use with templates that set the entry point for the taxonomy or allow different taxonomies to be used in combination within the document.
– Improved error reporting for undefined units on facts.
– Added target link to log messages to allow “double click to” position in the source file.
– Corrected an issue with processing negative numbers, which was causing bogus DQC 0015 errors.
– The XDX processor will now automatically create a cover presentation if the current taxonomy template does not have a standard cover presentation.
