XMLParseGetConcept Function

Overview

The XMLParseGetConcept function returns the concept, if one exists, within the parse buffer.

Syntax/Parameters

Syntax

string = XMLParseGetConcept ( handle hXPO );

Parameters

hXPO

A handle specifying an XML Parse Object.

Return Value

Returns a string containing the concept for the last parsed item or an empty string on failure. Use the GetLastError function to retrieve error information. The GetLastErrorMessage can contain information on ERROR_CONTEXT.

Remarks

XMLParseGetConcept returns the concept (element less namespace, aka local part of a qname) for the last item parsed, if any. The XMLParseGetPrefix will return the namespace prefix, if the tag has one.

If the raw parameter is set to TRUE on the XMLParseGetItem function, this function will return an error.

XMLParseIsTag — Returns a boolean as to whether item parser was a tag.
